About Janice

Thirty years of real estate experience in Northern Virginia provides the perspective Janice Cairns can bring to your home selling or buying experience. As a Realtor®, Janice adheres to the highest standards in real estate ethics and professionalism. She maintains a high level of continuing education in her field, and to further her Sellers’ and Buyers’ market impact, she has also earned the “Accredited Staging Professional” and “Certified Negotiation Expert” designations.

Janice is one of the few natives of the Washington, DC area, having been born and raised in the local area. She grew up in North Springfield, just inside the Capital Beltway, and attended Annandale High School. She went on to obtain her B.S. in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech before returning to Northern Virginia to begin her career.

For a number of years, Janice worked in sales and marketing of computer hardware, and honed her technical and management skills at Xerox, AT&T and other area high-tech firms. Eventually, family connections led her to a career in Real Estate. Her experience working in high-tech marketing has been invaluable in helping her provide a high level of service to her clients, as technology becomes an increasingly vital aspect of real estate marketing.
